Update from our amazing Food Project Team who with support from your donations have been working hard to help local residents in need:

“From Wednesday the 24th June we will be making changes to our operation:

We will still be offering a limited delivery service which will now be weekly on a Wednesday from midday onwards for local people shielding.

We will now be opening the Food Project at WG Grace Centre every Wednesday between midday and 2pm for grocery bag collections only. We will be operating from the square, distributing packages through the exit doors. One way through to one door were details and a signature will be taken and then onto the second exit door to pick up a weekly bag of groceries and then leave by the squares via signed exit.

Please respect social distancing at all times indicated by our floor markers whilst collecting.”

For more information about this project please contact paul@chartbiglocal.org.uk

From everyone in the team we also want to say a HUGE THANK YOU for the donations we’ve received so far – please do keep them coming – every packet, every can, really does make a difference. You can purchase donations for us at Costcutter and Brook Pharmacy on Chinbrook Road. Or contact Paul to arrange a time to drop them to the WG Grace Community Centre.

Saturday Yoga Online & Family Yoga – we’ve had really wonderful feedback from people who are already accessing this weekly online class with our instructor Geny letting us know how much they are enjoying the class, and how being able to still see Geny and other people they really feel part of a community class. If you haven’t tried it yet I really do recommend it – its super easy to join – you need to register on Eventbrite so Geny knows who is joining, and once you’ve done that she will send you the links and logins, and you can register for multiple Saturdays in one go. Classes are running each Saturday at 10am – register now! https://tinyurl.com/ChARTYoga if you’ve got any questions about this class please get in touch with Geny: geny@cheyoga.co.uk
