Home Reading
Your child is given a reading book, appropriate to their stage of reading development, to bring home in their reading bag. In Nursery, we send ‘Story Sacks’ home for parents/carers to share with their children on a weekly basis. They will have a yellow reading record book in which the school will record the titles and space for comments each time they read with an adult. The reading diaries are monitored daily and books are changed by a member of staff at least twice weekly.
