As part of our learning programme this term Year 2 are learning about rainforest animals and their habitats and we will be visiting Drusillas Zoo & Park on Thursday 4th July 2019.
We will be travelling there by coach. Your child should be at school by 8.25am as we will be leaving promptly at 8.30am and will be unable to wait for latecomers. We aim to return to school by 3:30pm, but will provide text updates on the day should this change.
The children are expected to wear school uniform, but should bring a coat and wear comfortable shoes or trainers. They will also need a packed lunch. You can provide your own lunch from home (no sweets, fizzy drinks or glass bottles please), or request a school packed lunch (consisting of a sandwich, a snack, a piece of fruit and a bottle of water).
